Admissions to IGNOU

IGNOU chooses applicants for admission to a variety of programs based on their eligibility for that course, followed by the entrance score or merit necessary in the exam. For instance, admission to MBA programs is based on OPENMAT scores, whereas IGNOU administers OpenNet for nursing courses and also requires prior experience. However, IGNOU awards admission to MA, M.Com, MCA, BA, and B.Com programs based on performance in the most recent qualifying test.

Scholarships at IGNOU

Students from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, two reserved categories, are also eligible for financial aid from IGNOU. Placements for IGNOU

Since the establishment of the IGNOU Recruitment Cell in 2005, the university has successfully held placement drives and provided students with consideration for placements. The Campus Placement Cell (CPC) is attempting to grow its clientele by launching several fresh programs, such as soft skill development.

IGNOU has a large number of SC/ST students registered in its various programs, and it makes constant efforts to spread the word about its distance learning programs among the nation’s working members of the Armed Forces and Security Forces.
