DIT University (DITU), founded by the Unison Group, first opened its doors at the Dehradun Institute of Technology in 1998. Admission to DIT University is now being accepted for all of its programs. Anyone interested may submit their application online through the official website by paying a 1250 INR application fee. Candidates that successfully register will be able to participate in the counseling process.

Steps for Online Admission Counseling at DIT University
- By visiting the official website and completing the Registration Form, the applicant must register with DIT University and pay a registration fee of INR 1,250.
- After the candidate’s board results are announced, they must update their qualifying grades on the DIT University Registration Form.
- For undergraduate programs, the candidate must click “Counseling Form” to upload their 10th and 12th-grade transcripts; for postgraduate programs, they must upload their 10th, and 12th-grade transcripts, and diplomas. Additionally, the UK/Himalayan State Domicile certificate must be supplied, if relevant.
- If a candidate is applying for a graduate program but hasn’t yet gotten their final year results, they can still submit their prior year’s or semester’s grade report.
- After updating their scores, candidates must choose their preferred programs, on the basis of which a seat will be assigned in accordance with the schedule. (A) – POLICY FOR MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
At the time of acceptance, merit scholarships can be applied for based on a student’s XII standard percentage, and they also cover program tuition costs.
(B) – STATE SCHOLARSHIP POLICY OF UTTARAKHAND
Permanent residents of Uttarakhand, for whom 40% of seats are reserved throughout the program, are eligible for a 26% subsidy on the tuition cost. The student will only be deemed eligible for the Uttarakhand State Scholarship if, while reporting for counseling or admission, he or she has a valid Domicile Certificate in Original.
