Shobhit University, Meerut – Admission, Courses & Fee Structure

In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, there is a Deemed University called Shobhit University. It was established as a deemed-to-be university in 2006. It has received UGC and NAAC approval, respectively. Engineering and technology, management, naturopathy, Ayurveda, education, law, applied sciences, and pharmacy are among the fields in which the institution provides undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies. All courses are admitted based on the results of university-conducted admission exams. In addition to the entrance exam, it takes into account JEE Main for B.Tech. and GATE for M.Tech.

Shobhit University Admission

Candidates who wish to apply for admission to the university may do so offline or online. To download an application form or to apply online, they can go to the university’s admissions portal at https://admission.shobhituniversity.ac.in. Candidates must submit a completed application form together with copies of any required documentation. The university charges INR 1000 and INR 2100 for the research and BAMS programs’ entrance processing fees, respectively.

In-Person Mode

Step 1: Go to the university’s admissions website.
Step 2 is to complete and submit the application.
Step 3: Upload a scanned copy of your class 10 transcript and a current, full-color passport photo.
Step 4: Use a credit card, debit card, or online banking to pay the application cost.

Offline Mode

Step 1: Go to the university’s admissions portal and download the application.

Step 2: Print the form and carefully fill in the required information. Attach a recent passport-size color photo.

Step 3: Submit the properly completed application form to the appropriate University campus along with a photocopy of your class 10 transcript.

Step 4: The applicant must submit the application form together with a demand draught (DD) for INR 1100 made out to “Shobhit University” and payable in either Meerut or Gangoh.

Online Admission Process

Step One:- First of all, you need to visit the admission portal of the university.
Step Two:- Now, you need to fill in all the required details asked in an application form.
Step Three:- Next step, now you need to upload all the required document’s copy and a photo of passport size.
Step Four:- Once you are done with the above, you need to pay the application fee. You can choose any mode of payment now from credit/debit card and net banking.

Shobhit University Scholarships

The scholarships provided by the university to assist qualified students are listed below.

The Adarsh Vidyadhan Scholarship is open to female candidates enrolled in universities. The recipient will receive a 20% tuition fee discount.
Babu Vijendra Shourya Samman Scholarship: The tuition fees for the children of martyrs who died in the line of duty would be waived entirely.
National Integration Scholarships: Students from Jammu and Kashmir will receive a 20% tuition fee discount.
For I, II, and III position holders in events sanctioned by the Indian Olympic Association. Candidates will get 20% of the scholarship at the state level, 40% at the national level, and 60% at the international level.
Scholarships for Defense Wards: 20% of the scholarships will be given to wards of the military, paramilitary, and other forces.
The university also offers alumni members a 20% scholarship, known as the Chancellor’s Scholarship.

Shobhit University Placements

The University Training & Placement Center sincerely considers the present and long-term needs of its students. The needs of the students in terms of academics, training, placement, projects, and psychology are carefully identified, planned, and carried out. TechMahindra, Ranbaxy, Reliance Communication, Philips, MTNL, Max Hospital, Hitachi, and other companies frequently hire from the university.

To assist students and recruiters in the process, the university established its placement cell. The placement and training department prepares pre-final year students for placement through pre-placement conversations, interviews, and guidance from seniors and alumni.

At Shobhit University, a placement’s highest package was 12 LPA in 2024.

Between 2019 and 2021, there was an increase in the number of students placed. According to data on the university webpage, 152 students were hired earlier in 2019; in 2020, 272 students received good offers; and by 2021, the number had increased to 398.
